It had been in the air for several weeks, it is now official: Lautaro Martinez is back with Inter Milan. Having arrived in 2018 at the Nerazzurri from Racing Club in Argentina, the 26-year-old player has established himself as one of the best strikers in Europe with the Lombard club. Double champion of Italy with Inter, the Argentinian international (64 caps, 29 goals) is now the captain of the team coached by Simone Inzaghi.

Tracked by some clubs on the Old Continent, the number 10 Inter will finally stay with the residents of the Giuseppe-Meazza stadium until 2029 as indicated in the latter’s press release this Monday: “FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has reached an agreement for the extension of the contract of the player Lautaro Martinez: the striker born in 1997 will remain with the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2029.»
