One of Real Madrid’s veterans speaks out about his future at the club.

As the end of the season approaches, several moves could take place on the Real Madrid side. While the Kylian Mbappé soap opera continues to keep Madrid supporters in suspense, the future of certain executives is also uncertain.

Toni Kroos has already confirmed his intention to retire after Euro 2024. On the other hand, Luka Modric does not yet know what his future will hold. However, the 2018 Ballon d’Or recently expressed his desire to continue the adventure with the residents of Santiago Bernabéu.

“Nothing that happens will change my decision”

The case of Nacho Fernandez is more particular. The Spanish central defender, whose contract also expires next June, has already made his decision, but he wants to formalize his choice at the end of the 2023-24 financial year. Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti’s men still have the Champions League final to play against Borussia Dortmund this Saturday.

“I have decided what I will do at the end of the season, but I won’t say it, it’s not the day, it’s not the time. But nothing that happens will change my decision. Whether it’s winning the Champions League or the Euro”said the captain of Casa Blanca for Spanish radio Onda Cero.
