The road to crowning the inaugural WWE Speed Women’s Champion continues.
On the October 2 episode of WWE Speed, IYO SKY took on Naomi in the first semifinal match. Naomi delivered a valiant effort, but SKY put her away with the Over The Moonsault. In doing so, she punched her ticket to the finals. She awaits the winner of the second semifinal match, in which Kairi Sane will face Candice LeRae.
SKY previously beat Lyra Valkyria to advance to the semifinals, while Naomi beat Blair Davenport. Sane and LeRae advanced by beating Elektra Lopez and Piper Niven, respectively.
Meanwhile, SKY and Sane are targeting the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. They challenged the reigning champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, to a title match on the September 30 episode of WWE RAW.
