Judgment Day kicked off with a bang, setting the stage for a loaded night of action and rivalry. Commentary wasted no time highlighting Liv Morgan’s big Crown Jewel Title win, though she only keeps the symbolic ring. With her “Revenge Tour” over, Morgan declared it’s time for the “World Tour,” proudly listing her recent victories. But before she could continue, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair interrupted alongside Dominik Mysterio. Belair boasted about their success “last night,” but Morgan wasn’t buying into the hype

Morgan shot back, pointing out how Belair and Cargill’s rivalry comes from each thinking they’re the best—unlike her genuine friendship with Raquel Rodriguez. Belair took the bait, challenging them to a tag match, but Adam Pearce quickly stepped in, delaying the bout. Before long, Morgan’s commentary reignited the tension, leading to a brawl. Pearce, however, had a twist to keep things fair: a battle royal to decide the new #1 contender for Morgan’s title, with both Belair and Cargill added to the fray.

Battle Royal to determine #1 Contender for the Women’s World Championship

Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Natalya, Lyra Valkyria, Sonya Deville, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Shayna Baszler, Isla Dawn, Alba Fyre, Maxxine Dupri, Ivy Nile, Zoey Stark, and Zelina Vega

Right out of the gate, Carter and Chance brought the heat, diving off the top rope onto the crowd, setting up a round of cannonball catapults in the corner. Dawn was eliminated early, with Deville quickly dispatching Carter. Dupri got her moment in the spotlight with a flashy inverted Worm but was thrown out before long. Zelina Vega then landed a 619 to knock Ivy Nile out, just as the show cut to a break.

Returning from the break, Damage CTRL’s double dropkick knocked Natalya out of the match. Chance had walked on her hands to escape elimination earlier but was sent packing shortly after. Sane, Natalya, Deville, and Baszler were out, leaving only Valkyria, Belair, Cargill, and Sky—and the crowd was fully engaged.

Belair and Cargill cleared the ring, leaving each other for a tense face-off. Valkyria and Sky recovered, only to be hit with finishers. Just then, Morgan and Rodriguez interfered, leading to Belair’s shocking elimination as Morgan yanked her out by her hair! Cargill was pulled out with her, leaving Valkyria and Sky. On the apron, Sky nailed a German suplex to eliminate Valkyria and claim the victory.

Winner: Iyo Sky

The women’s division took center stage in the show’s opening, and with such a well-executed “themed” Battle Royal, there’s no doubt Iyo Sky’s earned her #1 contender spot. Can’t wait to see how this all plays out on the road to Survivor Series!
