According to reports, Manchester United are prepared to let Jadon Sancho rejoin the club and have a future at Old Trafford if Erik ten Hag is sacked in the summer.

Sancho is content with his stay at Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old has spent two stints with the team at this point. He opted to join the Red Devils, which hasn’t worked out well for him, ending his first stay.

The English winger missed more than four months of football after being cut from the first team squad due to a public falling out with coach Erik ten Hag. It looks like the relationship between the player and the manager is beyond repair now.

After a public rift with Ten Hag in September, Sancho hasn’t played for United since August. The Dutchman was questioned about the English forward’s exclusion from the squad at his post-match news conference after the team’s loss to Arsenal.

When Ten Hag said he was not impressed with his training efforts, Sancho responded by calling the statement “untrue” and labeling himself as a “scapegoat.”

If Erik ten Hag is fired at the end of the season, the 23-year-old may play again for United, according to Football Insider.

There is very little chance that the team will accept Jadon Sancho back if the Dutchman stays until the summer beyond the summer. Despite being a star in Germany, the English winger’s dismal performance at United means the team cannot give in to his demands.

The second half of the season is finally seeing some life from Erik ten Hag’s team. They are performing well and getting results in their favour.

The form of Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo has sparked a new life into the team.
