Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho has been named on the bench for Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga clash with Darmstadt on Saturday evening.

Sancho completed his loan return to Dortmund earlier this week after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag. One of his United team-mates irked fans with a comment on Instagram after the winger shared an update from his first training session back in Germany.

The 23-year-old was not deemed fit enough to start, but he travelled with the squad to Darmstadt after re-joining to the Bundesliga outfit just days ago.

After a torrid spell at United, Sancho should be aiming to rejuvenate his career somewhere he managed to score 50 goals and register 64 assists in 137 games. That was from his first spell at Dortmund.

It remains to be seen if Sancho will be handed his second Dortmund debut today or if they will wait for a later date to throw him back into action.

The winger will be eager to prove himself and get his name back on the scoresheet after spending three months banished from the first-team at United.

Meanwhile, Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen makes his debut for the Bundesliga club against Darmstadt.
