Jamie Hayter advances.
On the November 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jamie Hayter defeated Queen Aminata in a semifinal match in the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty International Women’s Cup Qualifier. Hayter ultimately scored the win with the Hayter-ade.
Here’s how the match broke down, courtesy of our play-by-play:
Hayter and Aminata trade pin attempts. Aminata suplexes Hayter and nails her with a stiff strike to the face.
Aminata evades the Hayter-ade. She slams Hayter to the mat. Hayter traps Aminata in a sleeper hold, but Aminata escapes. Hayter gets a two-count with a boot. Hayter hits a lariat for the win.
With the win, Jamie Hayter advanced to the finals at AEW Collision: Winter is Coming. She will face the winner of the match between Serena Deeb and Willow Nightingale. That match will be on the December 7 episode of AEW Collision. The winner will advance to the International Women’s Cup at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The match will include representatives from AEW, ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM. Tthe victor will earn a title shot in the company of their choosing.
