Jared Padalecki has extended a first-look deal with CBS! The 42-year-old Supernatural star entered the deal with the network back in 2022. His re-up comes as he gears up to make his debut on the hit series Fire Country and amid talk that he could star in a spinoff, tentatively called Fire Country: Surfside. Keep reading to find out more… Deadline confirmed that Jared and CBS had extended their deal, with the outlet reporting that it was a “priority” to keep the actor on their roster. Fire Country returns to CBS for its third season on October 18, and Jared‘s involvement was announced in August. He’ll play “a SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with” named Camden. Jared only has a recurring role on the show, but the potential spinoff is said to be in the early phases of development. It could premiere on CBS or their streaming platform Paramount+.
