Jason Kelce To Host Postseason Late-Night Show On ESPN

The Kelce brothers are gradually taking over every genre on television. Travis has been doing scripted series with Grotesquerie and game show with Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity. Jason, who is a sport commentator on ESPN‘s Monday Night Football, is now also venturing into late night.

The older Kelce brother will host They Call It Late Night, an hourlong limited-run late-night show, which will run Friday nights on ESPN (technically Saturday mornings since its start time is 1AM). It premieres Jan. 3 and will run through the final week of the NFL regular season and the playoffs until Pro Bowl Weekend.

Former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce made the announcement during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs on ESPN’s Disney sibling ABC.

“I love late-night shows, I’ve always loved them,” Kelce said, recalling how years ago he and his friends would do sleepovers watching Conan O’Brien.

They Call It Late Night, which will originate from the Union Transfer in Kelce’s hometown of Philadelphia, will feature guests — “legends of the game, friends that I have played the game with, coaches, celebrities.”

Kelce hopes that his brother and New Heights podcast co-host Travis, along with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, make it to another Super Bowl so he doesn’t get a chance to appear on They Call It Late Night.

Additionally, there will be “a live band snack time,” with the band playing popular NFL songs.
