Jax Taylor just cosigned Brittany Cartwright’s divorce decision.

The former Sur bartender told “When Reality Hits” podcast listeners Friday that his estranged wife’s divorce filing was the “right decision for their family.”

Taylor, 45, added, “I understand why she did [it]. I’ll always love and care for Brittany. She’s the mother of my beautiful son, [Cruz].”

He went on to say that he wants to “be amicable” with his former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star and “even, hopefully, [become] really, really good friends one day.”

Taylor joked that he “will make an excellent ex-husband.”

However, he noted, “It’s been a really, really rough week. Anyone that has gone through a divorce will understand how difficult this is.”

While the episode marked the first time Taylor has spoken about the split since Cartwright, 35, filed in August, a source told Page Six at the time that he was “100 percent on board.”

The insider claimed, “He’s been checked out from the marriage for a long time now. He just wants to have an amicable co-parent relationship.”

Taylor also addressed his recent stay at a mental health facility, during which he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

“It was a very, very scary step for me, but it really needed to happen. It’s something I’ve been holding onto for many, many years,” the Bravolebrity explained. “I’ve known for years that there’s been something wrong but I just didn’t want to know. During my stay, I found out a lot about myself.

“I now have a little bit better understanding of my mental health struggles,” Taylor continued. “I’ve been put on some serious medication that’s actually been helping me out a lot.”

The “Valley” star, who plans to speak “more openly” about his condition in the future, revealed his diagnoses via Instagram Monday.

“I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace,” he told his followers in a lengthy caption.

Prior to entering a treatment center, Taylor posted a picture with Cruz and wrote that he was “working on getting better for” the little one.

The duo have been together since 2015.

They announced their separation in February, with their breakup playing out on Season 1 of their Bravo show.

Last week, Cartwright said on their podcast that it took her “many, many years to get to this point where [she] gained enough courage and strength to do what’s best” in her first comments since their split.
