Nic Nemeth emerged victorious in the main event of TNA Victory Road, but he had some help.
In the main event of TNA Victory Road, Nic Nemeth defended the TNA World Championship against Moose. Nemeth previously won the title by winning a six-man match that included Moose at TNA Slammiversary.
Nemeth and Moose battled it out in a hard-fought match. In the end, The System interfered and tried to help Moose steal the win. However, Mike Santana helped fend them off, as did WWE Hall of Famer JBL, who attacked members of The System at ringside. Nemeth then clinched the win with the Danger Zone.
JBL previously appeared at TNA Emergence and whispered something in Nemeth’s ear.
