EXCLUSIVE: Jeremy Saulnier has signed with Grandview for representation.

Up next, Saulnier serves as director, writer, producer, and editor on the feature film Rebel Ridge, starring Aaron Pierre, AnnaSophia Robb, and Don Johnson. The high velocity thriller follows a former Marine as he grapples his way through a web of small-town corruption when an attempt to post bail for his cousin escalates into a violent standoff with the local police chief. Netflix will release the film worldwide on September 6th.

Saulnier made his feature directorial debut with Murder Party, which received rave reviews and won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival. In 2013, he wrote and directed Blue Ruin, which won the Fipresci Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the John Cassavetes Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.

He followed that up with writing and directing Green Room, which starred Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, and Imogen Poots. The film, which premiered at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes and was released by A24, garnered significant critical acclaim and appeared on several critics’ lists as one of the best films of 2016.

Most recently, Saulnier directed the feature film Hold the Dark starring Alexander Skarsgård, Jeffrey Wright, and Riley Keough, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before being released by Netflix. On the television side, he helmed the first two episodes of Emmy-nominated third season of True Detective.

He continues to be represented by CAA and Granderson Des Rochers.
