Jesse Lingard appears to have put an end to speculation over his future with an airport picture revealing all.

The former Manchester United attacker was one of the stories of transfer deadline day amid reports of a shock move to South Korea with FC Seoul.

However, it’s since been claimed that 26 teams have been vying for the services of the free agent days after the Seoul move was seemingly all but done.

Lingard has now given a key insight into what happens next, by posting an airport picture showing him in the queue for a flight run by Korean Air.

That would certainly suggest that FC Seoul have in fact secured his signature, despite silence in the four days since the window closed.

The 31-year-old has been a free agent since last summer, and The Mirror revealed that he was still surveying his options after the close of the January window.

A total of 26 clubs were said to be interested in securing his services with no announcement from FC Seoul incoming.

That now looks like a formality with Lingard heading to the South Korean capital to play in the K League.

A Manchester United academy graduate, Lingard had a hugely-successful loan at West Ham in 2021 before leaving Old Trafford permanently for Nottingham Forest the following year.

Despite becoming their highest-paid player, things didn’t work out at the City Ground, and the former England international has since been training with MLS and Saudi Pro League teams whilst plotting his future.
