Jimmy Uso has undergone significant character development in WWE as a member of The Bloodline. Following his betrayal of his brother Jey Uso at SummerSlam, Jimmy has showcased a different facet of his character and continues to align himself with Roman Reigns. They will square off against each other at WrestleMania 40 and it appears Jey Uso plans on delivering authentic promos on his brother.
On February 19 during Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso competed against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. As the match reached its conclusion, Uso executed five spears and followed up with the Uso splash. However, chaos ensued when Jimmy Uso continuously rang the bell at ringside, creating a distraction. Seizing the opportunity, Gunther regrouped and capitalized on the situation, ultimately retaining his title.
During last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW RAW, Jimmy Uso came out and distracted Jey Uso during his match with Drew McIntyre, ultimately costing his brother yet another match.
In an interview with Tim & Eli on Battleground, Jey Uso expressed excitement about a potential match against his twin brother Jimmy at WrestleMania. He mentioned being like a little kid again and emphasized the anticipation for the lead-up and promos, highlighting the real and emotional aspect that will make it stand out from other storylines. Jey conveyed enthusiasm about delivering a unique and authentic experience to the fans.
“Personally, I’m a little kid all over again. Hopefully it’s me and Jimmy at WrestleMania. If it is, I’m a little kid. It’s going to be so easy. We’re just going to do what we do all the time. What I’m most excited about is the lead up, the promos. I love talking. I’m trying to talk. You thought you had emotion in the Bloodline storyline with me and Roman, and me and Sami, watch me and my twin go at it. Ya’ll are going to be like, ‘They are 100% real.’ That’s what is going to make it fire. It’s going to be real. I’m excited to pump that out to the fans and give them that. It’ll be different from every other angle.”
