John Cena is widely known as one of the biggest and most influential figures in the sports entertainment industry. However, alongside his magnanimous aura, in-ring career, and charismatic personality, there is something else that is very iconic in his life.

Right when Cena boarded the top of the WWE bandwagon to lead the charge as the next Franchise Player, he adopted his signature catchphrase ‘You Can’t See Me’ that was followed by hand gesture.

For years, fans literally took his statement giving rise to the worldwide fact of John Cena being invisible and present at many important events where he is not visible to the naked eye of the public.

The 16-time WWE champion, after years of hearing about his supposed superpower, finally addressed the matter during recent conversation with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. Cena openly stated that he was living a lie the whole time with his You Can’t See Me antics and that he was visible to the people.

“All the time. I don’t think there’s an ounce of truth in anything I’ve said. Ever. I’m living in a lie. I’m living a whole lie. I think I’m visible. I think people can see me. They can’t.”

Moreover, it seems Cena’s visibility would be showcased at this year’s WrestleMania 40, as The Champ has stated that his schedule was free during the timeline of The Showcase of the Immortals. We will have to wait and see if Cena does appear and the capacity WWE chooses to use its former golden goose.

Do you agree with John Cena claiming to live a lie this entire time and being visible? Will he be visible at WrestleMania 40 as well? Sound off in the comments!
