John Cena’s ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie Fails to Secure Wins at Annie Awards

John Cena is a man who wears many hats, especially when it comes to his Hollywood career. He also starred in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem but unfortunately, the movie didn’t win a single award at the Annie Awards.

The movie featured Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon who voiced the four ninja turtles Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael respectively. John Cena portrayed the role of Rocksteady in the film, which was well-received by many.

In case you were not aware, The role of Rocksteady was previously voiced by Sheamus in 2016 when he voiced the character in the 2016 film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.” 

As previously reported, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem received six award nominations for the 51st Annie Awards. According to PWInsider, it was revealed that the John Cena movie didn’t manage to win a single award at the Awards ceremony.

It is certainly disappointing that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem did not win a single award, as many fans felt the movie was snubbed for no reason. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether any of John Cena’s other movies will end up winning an award in the future.
