Jon Moxley shares some insight into his attitude.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has been taking the company by storm in recent months, along with his Death Riders Group. Moxley will defend his title against Orange Cassidy at AEW Full Gear.
Speaking with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri (via SHAK Wrestling), Jon Moxley commented on his current run in AEW.
“I’m in a very exciting place right now,” Jon Moxley said. “The cool thing for me, I don’t think there’s any politer way to say this other than, I don’t give a single f*ck. I have not one single f*ck to give. So that is the attitude that I’m moving forward with. That is the attitude my group has. Everything I’m trying to achieve right now, this is very much the hill I will die on.
“I’ve been people say that and not mean it, I’ve seen people say it and mean it, and they die on that hill. I have no intention of dying on this hill, but this is the hill I’m prepared to die on. It’s a very exciting feeling to have.”
Renee Paquette On Jon Moxley
Renee Paquette, Jon Moxley’s wife, was recently asked to comment on his actions in AEW while speaking on Busted Open Radio.
“I don’t know,” Renee Paquette said. “I kind of just steer clear. The truth of it is, when Jon and I go to work, we’ve always been like this, he does his job and I do my job. We’ve always been like that. I honestly don’t even see him most of the day. He’s off doing his thing, I’m doing mine.
“I immensely respect what he does and I think that’s another level that helps me understand more of the wrestling business, my relationship with him. I love watching him do what he does. My job is different and I always really love what I get to bring to the table. I just stick to my job and I let him do his and then we reconvene at the end of the night.” [H/T: Fightful]
