Jordynne Grace had some interesting discussions with Shawn Michaels recently.
The TNA Knockouts Champion appeared on NXT last week, despite still being signed to TNA. This was her first WWE appearance since the 2024 Royal Rumble. Grace will wrestle Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground, challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship at the event.
Shawn Michaels, who is the current head of NXT Creative, was clearly a big fan of Grace. He knew a lot about her, including a viral meme she posted last month about eating pop tarts with ground beef.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Jordynne Grace spoke about Shawn Michaels. She revealed he is “such a cool guy” and wants to bring the fun back to wrestling.
They spoke about the “Pop-Tartare” meme, with Michaels questioning whether the poptart/raw beef combination was something she actually ate herself. Luckily. Jordynne Grace confirmed it was not her photo.
“He’s so chill, and he’s Shawn Michaels. He’s so excited about this. Which is really awesome. He’s all about it—he really wants to have fun with wrestling, get everybody excited and hyped up, and bring back the feeling that wrestling used to have. He’s such a cool guy. The first thing he asked me about, which is crazy that he even knew I tweeted this, was the Pop-Tart beef contraption.”
“It’s not real, obviously. I don’t know why, but I was Googling beef memes. Sometimes I like to get on Instagram and post a picture—a workout photo—and then a meme next to it. So, I was looking at some beef memes, and that was the first thing that popped up. I thought it would be really funny if I just told everybody that I ate it.”
“Actually, the photo originally showed a whole hand, and it was a tattooed hand. I decided to crop it to make it seem like I had this for my post-workout meal.”
