Jurgen Klopp's press conference was disrupted by a journalist's phone, and he had the opposite reaction to Roy Keane.

The Liverpool boss spoke to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of his side's crucial Premier League clash against Arsenal this weekend.

His side travel to the Gunners off the back of a resounding 4-1 victory over Chelsea that took them five points clear at the top of the table.

Klopp cut a serious figure when speaking of the challenge Liverpool are set to face, in what could prove to be a title-deciding match.

However, a little over halfway through his press conference, he was distracted by a journalist's phone that was ringing on his table.

"The dentist is calling... that might be important," he said as he held the phone in his hand and cracked a wry smile.

"Oh sorry that's mine!' said the apologetic journalist but, despite the interruption, Klopp certainly saw the funny side of it.

His reaction was a far cry from Manchester United legend Keane's in 2009 during his stint as Ipswich Town manager.

The former Ireland international was answering a question regarding cheating in football before a phone started to ring.

"Who's phone is that? It's the second time it's gone off," Keane said with a stern look on his face, clearly unimpressed.

The journalist in question then admitted it was his, but the then-Ipswich boss asked: "Why don't you turn it off?

"You're sitting there, it's the second time it's gone off. Why don't you put it on silent, why don't you turn it off?"

"I'll turn that off in a minute, I thought I'd let it ring out," the reporter said but Keane sarcastically replied: "Oh right, that's good manners."

Klopp will face Arsenal for the final time in his Liverpool career after his announcement last Friday that he is leaving the summer.

Victory for the Reds would send them eight points clear of the Gunners and further strengthen their title bid.
