JUST IN: One Gunned Down, Kidnapper Of Popular Musician’s Mum Caught As They Were Sharing Ransom

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Kano have arrested a key suspect involved in the kidnapping of Dauda Kahutu Rarara’s mother.

During a covert operation, the operatives also killed one suspect and recovered N26.5 million.

A source from the DSS command revealed that the Kano command’s tactical team, acting on reliable intelligence, apprehended a gang of five bandits in the Makarfi bushes while they were dividing the ransom money.

The source stated, “Hamisu Tukur is currently in custody with gunshot injuries, while another suspect, Bature, was killed.”

The armed men had previously broken into the residence of Rarara’s mother, Hajiya Hauwa’u Adamu, in Kahutu and abducted her about three weeks ago. She regained her freedom after spending 20 days in captivity.
