Fathia Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer, Olawale B, disclosed that the late Nollywood actor, Tolani Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri, had secured his United States visa before his demise.
In an Instagram post via @fathiaentertainments_showbiz, Olawale B lamented the loss, stating, “So sad to hear the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir US visa was already approved. date fixed already. Who are we to question God?”
The actor, aged 44, renowned for his role in the movie ‘Seniyan Seranko,’ passed away, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances.
Sisi Quadri’s anticipated appearance in the upcoming film ‘Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,’ scheduled for release in cinemas, was eagerly awaited. However, the movie premiered on Netflix on Friday, posthumously showcasing his talent.
Expressing condolences, Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo mourned the loss, writing, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
Actor Tunde Yusuf shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come and unto Him, we shall return. May God bless, rest your soul, bro.”
The National President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan, known as Mr. Latin, also confirmed the tragic news. He wrote, “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, expressed shock and devastation at Oyebamiji’s passing, describing him as a fantastic actor beloved by many. The governor praised Sisi Quadri’s ability to bring joy to households through his acting prowess, highlighting his significant impact on-screen.
