Juventus and Thiago Motta target Arnaud Kalimuendo

To this day, Arnaud Kalimuendo is still closer to leaving than to staying in Rennes. Author of a great season last year (30 Ligue 1 matches, 10 goals, 1 assist), the French Olympic vice-champion is one of the players with high market value at the Breton club. Earlier this summer, Stuttgart had notably expressed its interest in the 22-year-old striker, while Serhou Guirassy had just signed with Dortmund. An offer of 20 million euros had even been made according to The Parisianthen rejected by Rennes.

But according to information from the Italian press, a lead has been gaining momentum in recent hours, and it leads to Turin. The Mattino reports that Juventus have indeed targeted the former PSG player for a transfer this summer. Thiago Motta, Kalimuendo’s former coach with the Paris youth teams, is said to greatly appreciate the player’s profile. His arrival would nevertheless be conditional on the departure of a striker, probably that of the Polish Arkadiusz Milik.
