It’s not official yet, but it’s just like it. After announcing his departure from Bologna, Thiago Motta will take the reins of Juventus. The Bianconero club has yet to make the news official, but the new coach of the Old Lady is already present behind the scenes. Moreover, the Gazzetta dello Sport affirms this morning that the Piedmontese leaders wish to give two first gifts to Motta.

Namely the extensions of defender Andrea Cambiaso, whom Motta had under his command in Bologna last season, and especially of Adrien Rabiot. Free from any contract at the end of the season after having extended for one year in 2023, the French midfielder is an element that the new strong man of Juve wants to keep. Especially since Motta knows Rabiot very well having played alongside him at PSG. Will the shared Parisian past between the two men allow the Bianconeri to keep one of their centerpieces?
