Karrion Kross wants to face Sami Zayn.
Speaking on The Body Shop with Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Karrion Kross was asked to comment on who he was facing next. He noted that he had a feeling that it would be Sami Zayn. When asked whether it could happen at WWE WrestleMania 41, Kross stated that this would be wonderful.
“I have a feeling it’s gonna be Sami Zayn,” Kross said. “I don’t know when, but I feel like that’s coming. We’re getting to a boiling point. [Asked if it could happen at WrestleMania] I mean, that would be wonderful. He would be an excellent opponent at WrestleMania.”
Kross has targeted Zayn in recent weeks on WWE RAW, but they have not faced each other yet.
Karrion Kross: I Can Be The Guy
Kross has made it clear that he wants to show WWE that he can be “that guy”. He discussed his mindset while speaking on Geeking Out with Matt Serra.
“I’m going to stick it out,” he said. “And every single opportunity that I get I’m going to show them I could be that guy, because I can be, and a lot of the audience knows that. In terms of getting the opportunity to demonstrate that, I stay ready for it. I train for it, I eat for it, I don’t get complacent whatsoever.
“Any Monday that comes around, the way I look at it, Monday Night RAW tonight could be that night that changes the direction of your career, but you need to be ready for it. You know what I mean? You have six days at home, you can’t just be hanging out on the couch. Like you need to be ready. Things change very quickly. So that’s kind of just the way I approach it. I’m not in control of that process, you know what I mean? But I’m ready for it, and I’d like to think that they know that.”
