Karrion Kross is currently the leader of The Final Testament with his wife Scarlett by his side. The two have been together for a long time and continue to be highlights of WWE television and now Kross has revealed how he and Scarlett met and eventually got together.
While speaking on the Chazz Palminteri Show, Karrion Kross revealed how he and his wife Scarlett first got together. At the time, they were working for the same company and were initially supposed to work together, but plans changed. They met backstage, and when they first saw each other, there was an instant and powerful connection. He described it as something Sicilians call “the Thunderbolt,” a moment of undeniable chemistry.
For several months, they tried to avoid each other. Kross would see Scarlett coming down the hallway and intentionally go the other way, actively trying to keep his distance. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t stay apart. Eventually, they started dating, and after being together for a long time, Kross proposed to Scarlett, solidifying their relationship.
“At the time, we were working for a company, and, um, at first, we were supposed to work together. Then we weren’t. I had met her backstage, and it was one of those things—like, when she and I met, there was immediately this… this eye contact. Like, something happened. It’s that thing—it’s called the Thunderbolt.
Yes, Sicilians call it the Thunderbolt. That’s what it was. So, we met backstage, and we were actually trying to avoid each other for, like, three or four months. Actively. I’d see her coming down the hallway, and I’d go the other way. We were trying to stay away from each other. But, obviously, we couldn’t. So, we started dating for a long time, and, well, eventually, I proposed to her.”
Karrion Kross and Scarlett married back in 20202 and their story shows how a real connection and shared purpose can bring people together. Their journey from working together to becoming lifelong partners is just as interesting as their WWE characters and it’s not hard to see why. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see what WWE has planned for them in the coming weeks as fans are clearly behind them.
