Kartik Aaryan shares how rats had eaten mat of his luxurious car McLaren, says, “I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix it”

Kartik Aaryan has been on a roll after the massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Currently the actor is shooting for its sequel while promoting Chandu Champion. When Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was successful, T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar gifted Kartik Aaryan a luxurious car McLaren GT. However, the actor could not enjoy riding in the car much as he had to spend lakhs of rupees on it after rats had bit the mat.

Kartik Aaryan on why he could not drive McLaren

In an interview with The Lallantop, the Shehzada actor revealed that he could not drive his McLaren because rats bit the car’s mat. He said, “I drive my other car. I have driven hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time so rats chewed the mat which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix the mat.”

Earlier Kartik had shared a couple of photos where he was seen posing along with his new car. He had written on Instagram, “Chinese khaane ke liye nayi table gift mil gayi. Mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai suna tha..Itna bada hoga nahi pata tha. India’s 1st McLaren Gt. Agla gift Private jet sir #Gratitude (sic).”

Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming movies

After Chandu Champion, his much-awaited horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be released in the cinemas on Diwali 2024. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in essential roles. Kartik will also be seen headlining Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3. Apart from this, he has collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala for a movie. He will also be seen working with Karan Johar for a yet-untitled film helmed by Sandeep Modi.
