Hyderabad: The BRS chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, spoke during the Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday. He made comments regarding the arrest of his daughter, Kavitha, in the Delhi liquor policy case.

“Don’t I feel pain as a father when my own daughter is in jail? I am burning like a volcano, but I am keeping silent,” KCR expressed.

KCR also addressed the issue of MLAs leaving the party. He said that there were no difficulties with MLAs leaving and recalled more challenging times during the agitation for Telangana.

“We have achieved Telangana in difficult times. Didn’t the Congress, which had only four MLAs in the past, come into power in the State? MLAs will have more popularity and growth when they are in opposition,” said KCR.
