Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay will join forces at AEW Grand Slam Australia.
Kenny Omega had been sidelined for over a year due to diverticulitis, but he returned to AEW at AEW Worlds End. He then made his AEW Dynamite return on January 8th, where he was confronted by the Don Callis Family. Will Ospreay ran in for the save. Omega went on to defeat Brian Cage at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. Ospreay again helped him when the Don Callis Family confronted him.
Ospreay and Omega had a heated confrontation on the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite. Omega highlighted their past feud and said he would never trust Ospreay. However, the Don Callis Family interrupted and brawled with Ospreay and Omega. Ospreay and Omega gained the upper hand and dove off a balcony and a lighting rig. Omega then challenged Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to face him and Ospreay at AEW Grand Slam Australia.
