Kevin Owens comments on his future.

Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is set to expire early in 2025. He has been with the company for ten years, and he remains one of the top stars on WWE SmackDown.

Speaking with Raj Prashad for UPROXX, Kevin Owens discussed his future.

“I don’t have a decade left here,” Owens said. “Another 5, 6 years or something if the opportunities are there and the circumstances are right.”

Owens also noted that he wanted to have another title run because it would probably make his daughter “really happy.” However, he said that he wanted everything he did to be memorable and enjoyable. He also made it clear that he aimed to help the future of the industry.

“Mainly, though, I really just want everything I do to be memorable and enjoyable for people watching, and I really want to help the future of the industry,” Kevin Owens said. “Whether, you could say work with the younger talent or whatever, but it’s not even necessarily younger talent, there’s talent of all ages that are coming up, that are developing. And I want to have a blast doing it.”

Kevin Owens will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31.
