Kishan Reddy Claims Congress’s True Nature Revealed in LS Elections

Hyderabad: Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy said that the true colors of the Congress were revealed in the recent parliamentary elections.

Speaking at a meeting with the Secunderabad Central District party cadre and leaders on Sunday, he emphasized that the BJP is the only party that operates on internal democracy. He mentioned that the BJP holds organizational elections regardless of being in power or not.

Despite efforts by anti-national forces spreading false campaigns and conspiracies, people have chosen Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time, after Jawaharlal Nehru, Reddy added.

He accused the Congress of spreading false claims that the BJP would change the Constitution and revoke reservations if it came to power for the third time. He pointed out that people knew how Congress had insulted Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and tried to defeat him in elections. Voters chose Modi for a third term while Congress failed to implement Dr. Ambedkar’s constitution in Jammu and Kashmir by continuing Article 370, he said.

Reddy noted that Congress did not win even 100 seats in the recent parliamentary elections but still dreamt of making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. He remarked that this was the first time Congress celebrated its electoral defeat by the people for the third time in the country’s politics.

Criticizing Rahul Gandhi’s speech during the Presidential address in Parliament, Reddy said electioneering should be done democratically. He accused anti-national and terrorist forces of conspiring against Modi and BJP to prevent them from coming to power for the third time. He highlighted that these forces intended to divide the country for political gains, which was evident in the Nampally assembly segment.

However, Reddy concluded, the people of the country were aware that bringing Congress back would lead to terrorism, dynastic rule, and corruption. Therefore, they supported bringing back Modi and the NDA to power.
