Kris Statlander is not just another girl.
Statlander recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about her character evolution since joining AEW. She was initially known for her “Galaxy’s Greatest Alien” moniker, then moved away from that in favor of “More Than A Woman.”
The former TBS Champion says she’s still ‘More Than A Woman’, but it has a bit of a deeper meaning to her personally.
Kris Statlander on her evolution and what persona she is currently
“I’d say I am still ‘More Than A Woman.’ It’s not just about being more than other people, being more than,” she explained. “The whole More than a Woman thing is because I always exceed expectations. Whatever goalposts people have for me, I do everything that I can to blow past them and really make a name for myself no matter what I do.
“And it’s not even whether I go by that moniker or not,” Statlander added. “With the ‘More Than A Woman’ thing, it’s very much something I implement something in my life daily, anyways. I don’t want to be just another girl. I’m going to be more than that.”
