“Listen, the way Craig went about it is what hurt me, OK?” he begins. “There are multiple lies, if I can be honest.”
DeSorbo, 32, quickly interjects to defend Conover, 37, and claims the “Southern Charm” star “went about it in the right way.”
“He told you he was doing it, and he did it,” she says, referring to Conover giving Cooke, 42, a heads-up that he was investing in the Loverboy founder’s competitor, Spritz Society.

“He said that they had approached him, and Kyle thought he had an opportunity to talk to him about it,” Batula, 33, recalls. “He thought he was in between and was like, ‘Hey, this is what I’ve been presented with. I don’t know what I’m doing yet.'”
Cooke agrees with his wife and adds, “It was claimed that he gave me the chance to counter. He asked if he could invest in Loverboy. I said, ‘Just give me a second to come up with a proposal about investing.'”

The budding DJ then says he would have given Conover the opportunity to invest for a starting bid of $25,000.
“Listen, if he presented it the way he described, that would’ve been one thing,” he says. “But, he’s a f–king liar, OK? And I’ve been taking f–king shots one after another. I’m happy to talk to Craig about it — like, quite frankly, it’s a moot point.”
Cooke insinuates the situation was more personally challenging for him than professionally by telling DeSorbo, “I thought we were closer than this.”

DeSorbo was referring to several texts Cooke had recently sent her expressing how “f–king apes–t” he was over both Conover’s investment and her best friend Hannah Berner’s claim that her own gig with a different alcohol brand led to her departure from “Summer House” in 2021.
