Paris suffers. Winners over Brest yesterday at the Parc des Princes (3-1), Luis Enrique’s men continue to ride their wave of happiness since the start of the season. The only black spot to note from this evening? The injury of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who recently became a father earlier in the week. Although he finished the match well, the Italian international did not come out of it in one piece.

This Sunday, PSG confirmed the withdrawal of its goalkeeper for the Champions League match on Wednesday against Girona at the Parc des Princes (9:00 p.m.), specifying that he was suffering from discomfort in his thigh. “Following muscular discomfort in his right thigh felt during yesterday’s match against Brest, Gianluigi Donnarumma will remain in treatment this week”the club said. News that should please Russian Matvey Safonov, the favorite to fill the position in Donnarumma’s absence.
