Leeds United are reportedly keen to seal the transfer of out-of-favour Liverpool defender Nat Phillips this summer, regardless of whether or not they go up to the Premier League or stay in the Championship.
Phillips hasn’t played for the Liverpool first-team for some time now, but he’s previously shown that he could be someone who’s good enough to shine for a lower-mid-table Premier League club.
Leeds seem to have identified him as a priority target for this summer, according to latest reports, and the 27-year-old will surely be available, even though he has two years left on his contract.
It’s hard to imagine LFC standing in Phillips’ way if he has suitors, and Leeds have also shown an interest in signing him in the past.

It will be interesting to see how this saga develops and if any other clubs also join the race for Phillips’ signature.
