The McMahon family, once a dominant presence on WWE television, no longer has official ties with the company they helped build into a global powerhouse. Linda McMahon, Vince McMahon, and their children Stephanie and Shane have all stepped away from WWE. The only family member still involved is Triple H, Vince’s son-in-law, who continues to lead the company. Even though they are gone, pro wrestling fans want an update on the famous family.
Janel Grant filed lawsuit in January in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, alleging she was “the victim of physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking at WWE.” The lawsuit lists WWE, Vince McMahon, and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis as defendants.
Linda McMahon recently gave an update on the family’s status following their departure from WWE during an interview at the Republican National Convention. When asked by Going Ringside about how the family is doing after what has been an “up and down year,” she responded, “We’re all doing great.”
Linda is scheduled to speak at the RNC on Thursday as Donald Trump accepts the GOP nomination for President. The McMahon family has made headlines throughout the year, particularly after former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, alleging sex trafficking and sexual abuse.
Linda ended the interview after addressing the family’s well-being, likely avoiding further discussion about the lawsuit involving her husband. Despite the legal challenges, it appears that the McMahon family is doing well.
