Lindsay Lohan gets candid about meeting husband Bader Shammas’ family: ‘It was a lot’

Lindsay Lohan vividly remembers meeting her husband Bader Shammas‘ family.

The “Parent Trap” star, 38, reflected on being introduced to her future in-laws while sharing rare insight into her relationship with the financier, 37, in a recent interview.

“That’s always a potentially tricky situation,” she admitted to Hello! UK magazine. “I remember being super-nervous when I met my husband’s family for the first time. His mum is so great, and she has all these gorgeous sisters, so it was a lot.”

While Lohan was “scared at first,” Shammas’ loved ones made her “feel so welcome,” and they have since developed a special bond.

“They’re so sweet, and we’re all really close now,” she shared. “We’re one big family, which is so nice, especially at Christmas — but they’re always there if I need someone to turn to.”

The former wild child, who shares 1-year-old son Luai with Shammas, also raved about how motherhood has changed her.

“It’s everything I hoped it would be and more,” she told the outlet. “My little boy is such a blessing. Being with him is like falling in love all over again, every single day.”

Lohan, Shammas and their little one spend most of their time in Dubai, where she has lived since 2014.

“Being in Dubai and getting time to just be me and spend time with my family without any of the industry noise around me has been so nice,” she said. “I love it there. Every day, being there with my son and my husband, I feel so blessed.”

Lohan later gushed that she felt the “luckiest woman in the world.”

“You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” she captioned a selfie with her spouse in July 2022. “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday.”

The couple met at a restaurant in Dubai in 2019 and got engaged in November 2021.
