Liv Morgan used her time off while injured well.

The WWE Superstar has been killing it since coming back from injury. She suffered an injury in July 2023, being written off following an attack from Rhea Ripley. She returned at the 2024 Royal Rumble, and quickly targeting Ripley.

Her attack on the Women’s World Champion put Ripley out of action for an extended period of time. This led to Liv Morgan eventually winning the title, and being involved in a main event-level storyline with Dominik Mysterio.

Liv Morgan spoke with Sports Illustrated about her injury recently. She revealed how her shoulder shifted lower than it should have been, and the pain was so intense that she couldn’t even feel it.

The Women’s World Champion then noted that while she was off injured, she used the time to focus on her revenge for Rhea Ripley.

“It hurt so bad I couldn’t even feel the pain,” Liv Morgan said. “It was overwhelming. My shoulder was physically lower than where it should be. So I knew it wasn’t good. I really used that time off to focus on what I wanted, what I wanted to do, and what I wanted my career to look like. I feel different. I’m no longer just happy to be here, I know I belong.”

“I channelled that for the six months I was out. I focused on what I wanted my revenge to look like, and I have executed every step of the way. Before, I thought it was going to be my time–but it wasn’t. I believe in divine timing and I trust the universe. Coming out of the injury on the other side, this is how and when it is supposed to be. This is how my revenge and redemption were intended to take place.”
