Veteran goalkeeper Adrian has been offered a new contract by Liverpool, while the club confirm that nine players have been released at the end of their deals.
Adrian moved to Anfield from West Ham on a free transfer in 2019 and has been either second or third choice with the gloves since then.
The Spaniard has made 26 appearances in all competitions in a Liverpool shirt and is clearly a positive presence around the squad as the Reds are keen to keep him around, offering him a new contract beyond his current deal which expires this month.
The 37-year-old is currently third choice behind Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher, but the latter has been linked with a summer exit as he looks to pursue more regular first team opportunities.
Liverpool have announced that, along with Adrian, academy goalkeepers Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman have also been offered new contracts.
However, there are nine players looking for new clubs, including outgoing first team pair Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara.
Both the defender and midfielder were given send-offs at Anfield after the final game of the Premier League season against Wolves, although both were somewhat overshadowed by the departure of manager Jurgen Klopp.
Also being released by the Reds are seven academy talents: Adam Lewis, Melkamu Frauendorf, Mateusz Musialowski, Nathan Giblin, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Niall Osborne and Cody Pennington.
Lewis, Frauendorf and Musialowski all made first team appearances under Klopp but will continue their careers elsewhere.
A club statement read: ‘Everyone at Liverpool FC thanks Joel, Thiago, Adam, Melkamu, Mateusz, Nathan, Francis, Luke, Niall and Cody for all their contributions and wishes them each the very best for the future.’
