A photo is making its way around social media showing Vince McMahon’s son Shane McMahon meeting with AEW President Tony Khan at some point earlier this week in Arlington, Texas. According to WrestleTalk and Fightful Select, the meeting was held to discuss “possibilities moving forward”. This comes after rumors of the two sides being interested in working together, though there is nothing to indicate a deal has been made.
Shane issued a statement to Busted Open Radio, saying the two had a “great meeting” and mainly spoke about their love of working with family. Shane also said he congratulated Khan on AEW reaching five years. Finally in a bit of trivia, Mercedes Mone is seemingly taking credit for taking the picture of the two.

Shane is something different. Check out what might be coming to AEW:
Opinion: This is one of those things where I’ll believe it when I see it, as there is a wide gap between two people associated with wrestling meeting and the two of them coming to a deal. Maybe Shane does wind up in AEW in some way, but it is almost hard to fathom. That being said, it would be quite the coup for AEW to have him make an appearance, so why not see if it can work?
