I am loving looking at this Premier League table tonight.
Eddie Howe’s side having won 2-1 at Molineux earlier today.
Wolves taking the lead through a breakaway goal on 36 minutes, Lemina scoring.
Then two goals in five minutes turning the game around for Newcastle United, Schar on 75 minutes and then Barnes on 80.
I think a lot of Newcastle United fans going over the top with the negativity on performances, the NUFC team haven’t been great this season BUT they have been far from terrible.
I think today was very similar to Bournemouth, two away games where Newcastle United started the better team, then conceding a bit of a soft goal after losing possession, that leading to NUFC losing their way, then with help from the bench end up finishing the better team.
Just like at Bournemouth, the stats pretty much all in Newcastle United’s favour.
Against Wolves, Eddie Howe’s team with more possession, more shots, more shots on target and more corners.
Also today, more goals!
Anyway, here is that Premier League table on Sunday night.
Drink it in!
Not getting ahead of myself BUT another away win at Craven Cottage next weekend, would make that Man City match at St James’ Park the following Saturday, a ‘little’ interesting…
