Trinity Fatu, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, concluded her tenure with TNA after the recent TV tapings in Orlando, Florida. This departure followed her loss of the TNA Knockouts Title to Jordynne Grace at the Hard to Kill event.
Trinity had her final appearances at the TNA TV tapings, including a rematch for the title on January 14 (expected to air on January 25) and a tag team match with Jordynne Grace against Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans.
Addressing the crowd after her match, Trinity expressed gratitude for her time in TNA, calling it a life-changing experience both inside and outside the ring. She praised the strong division and the incredible group of women she had the opportunity to work with. Trinity acknowledged Jordynne Grace as the new champion and signed off by saying, “Whenever y’all think of TNA, I want y’all to think of me, Trini-TNA! Thank you for coming out! We love you!”
Trinity’s reign as TNA Knockouts Champion lasted 182 days, beginning when the brand was still known as Impact Wrestling. Her departure from TNA has sparked reports of her possible return to WWE, reuniting with her husband, Jimmy Uso, who competes on the SmackDownbrand.
