Manchester also announced the appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy, as interim head coach, with the support of the current squad. The Dutch legend knows the Mancunian club well. He played 219 matches there for a total of 150 goals.

Erik ten Hag, who arrived in April 2022, leaves the club having won two national trophies: the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. Now the Red Devils are starting a new chapter this season. Hoping that this legendary club regains its splendor.
