Manchester United have confirmed the additions of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake as the latest members of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff.
Both Van Nistelrooy and Hake were at Carrington on Monday morning but have yet to start work at the club due to waiting on their visas to come through.
The news comes after Eredivisie club Go Ahead Eagles announced their manager, Hake, had left the club to join Ten Hag at United.
Speaking to club media about the latest arrivals to his backroom team, Ten Hag said (via ManUtd.com): “I am delighted that Rene and Ruud have agreed to join our project, adding a wealth of experience, knowledge and new energy to the staff. Now is a good time to refresh the coaching team as we look to build on the achievements of the past two years and push to the next level.”

Hopefully, these coach additions can help the team achieve better results ahead of the new season.
