Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has emerged as a target for Manchester United, if you believe everything you read.
It’s being reported by 90min that the Reds are monitoring Dewsbury-Hall, who could leave the Foxes this summer if they fail to achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is also believed to be attracting interest from Brighton.
However, the report suggests United could pay as little as £25 million if Leicester fail to return to the top flight. There is also a chance that they will hold out for £40 million if they do make their way back to the Premier League.
Dewsbury-Hall has enjoyed an impressive campaign in the Championship for Leicester with 10 goals and 12 assists in the league, as per WhoScored.
The midfielder is versatile enough to play both as a number 10 and also as an eight.
Leicester are currently fighting for the top two spots in the Championship, level on points with first-placed Leeds and just one point ahead of Ipswich Town.
There’s still a lot to play for this season as far as Leicester are concerned.
United need midfield recruits
The midfield department at United is one position that United are expected to strengthen this summer.
Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are expected to leave the club and both players need to be replaced. The former recently expressed his unhappiness at playing a bit-part role under Ten Hag. I would have sympathy for him if I didn’t think he was a spent force at the highest level.
