Manchester United are one of several football clubs believed to be keeping an eye on Le Havre defender Arouna Sangante.
All eyes will be on the 21-year-old this weekend when Le Havre take on Lyon at 16:05 on Sunday.
TEAMtalk claim scouts from United, Chelsea and Fulham have been making regular checks on the defender over the last 18 months.
However, the same source claims United will be in attendance for the match this weekend to get a closer look at the young Senegalese centre-back.
Sangante has helped Le Havre (Paul Pogba’s former club) to keep six clean sheets in 14 games. That includes big results like draws against AS Monaco, Lens and Lyon.
Le Havre are currently 11th in the Ligue 1 standings.

It is also understood that Le Havre are prepared to cash in on the player for the right price.
United’s search for a new centre-back may come as a blessing for Sangante, but the Reds have also been linked with OGC Nice and France star Jean-Clair Todibo.
The experienced Raphael Varane has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this year and the future both of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof remains unclear.
A lot depends on what INEOS has planned for the next 12 months.
