Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
The 24-year-old left-back position is an area United need to bolster ahead of the upcoming season. We are far too reliant on Luke Shaw, who is injury-prone, and Tyrell Malacia has endured a long injury layoff.
Shaw was limited to just 12 Premier League appearances last term. The last thing we need is to see him sustain a knock in England’s remaining Euro 2024 fixtures.
One option to strengthen United’s options at left-back is Kadioglu after an impressive European Championship campaign with Turkey.
A journalist named Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims United are “seriously interested” in Kagioglu and are prepared to push for his signature.
United have yet to contact Fenerbahce over a deal, but the Reds will meet with Kadioglu’s representatives in the coming days.

Kagioglu is a versatile full-back meaning that he can play on either flank. He is comfortable enough with the ball to play as an inverted midfielder, which may explain why United are considering the Turkey international.
Fenerbahce finished second in the Super Lig last term and they appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager earlier this summer.
