Manchester United have started making moves to secure the next batch of wonderkids from the academy, with Harry Amass “proud” to sign his first professional contract with the club.
The youngster took to Instagram after the news had been confirmed by the club, describing it as a “proud moment for me and my family.”
This is where the hard work starts for Amass and he will be hoping it’s the start of a special pathway into the first-team.
The likes of Amass will be looking closely at the first-team, only to be encouraged by the chances given to Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho over the past two seasons.
Amass joined United from Watford at the start of the season.
Having started with an impressive U18s side, Amass has shown progress by featuring for the U21s. He could even get his debut if we get more injuries at left-back.
We would like to congratulate Amass and we wish him every success in the future.
