Marcus Rashford scores less than five minutes into first Manchester United appearance since night out controversy

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford vindicated Erik ten Hag's decision to start him against Wolves by opening the scoring at Molineux.

The Red Devils forward took just five minutes to break the deadlock in what is his first appearance since his drunken night out in Belfast last week.

Rashford was dropped from Sunday's FA Cup fourth round win away at Newport, but Ten Hag elected to name him in his line-up for Thursday night's clash at Molineux.

And he instantly repaid the Dutchman's faith, as he sidefooted into the far corner from outside the box after being teed up by Rasmus Hojlund.
