Marilyn Manson will not face any charges following a lengthy investigation into allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence. If you were unaware, the 56-year-old musician was being investigated in Los Angeles following claims from multiple women. However, on Friday (January 24), it was revealed that no charges would be issued, and the reason why was revealed. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said that charges would not be faced due to a lack of conclusive evidence and the statute of limitations. “We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt,” he said in a statement provided to the outlet. “We recognize and applaud the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience with the investigation.” While Marilyn‘s team did not issue a statement at the time of publication, he has previously denied all of the allegations. It is not clear who was involved in the investigation. Actresses Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco have both accused him of abuse. Esmé confirmed that she provided evidence for the investigation. Marilyn sued Evan for defamation in March 2022. However, he dropped the lawsuit more than two years later. Another woman rescinded allegations of sexual abuse against Marilyn in 2023 and claimed that she was “manipulated” by Evan to come forward with the accusations. Evan responded to the claims.
