IMG Credit: WWEThere’s a reason. We are less than a month removed from WrestleMania 40 and that means it is already time to start getting ready for WrestleMania 41. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Best Ever: WWE Backlash Sets All Time Record
WWE has announced that WrestleMania 41 will take place at Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19 and 20, 2025. The April 20 date is Easter Sunday, which drew some attention after the announcement. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the city of Las Vegas wanted WrestleMania to be held on the holiday weekend as a way to boost tourism, which has traditionally been low. This will also be the latest in the year that WrestleMania has ever been held.
It’s the big one. Check out what is coming to Nevada:
Opinion: I can get the idea behind Las Vegas’ thinking, but at the same time, I’m not sure how well this is going to work. Easter is a big deal for a lot of people and while I can’t imagine a bad crowd, holding it on a pretty important holiday might be asking for trouble. The show will do fine, but I’d hope this doesn’t become a regular event as it would take out a lot of fans.
